Just wanted to update the agenda a bit for the Saturday show….we are going to back to basics for one show: the trio of old. We will be playing two 45 minute sets with a break in between, starts at 10:30. Covering some Allmans, SRV, Hendrix, and some mandolin and dobro playing, along with our new tunes and old.
Would love to see everyone out.
Fucking A.

Saturday. Two other bands, lots of boozing and hopefully a lot of fornicating.
See you there, sweethearts.

I created a page on deeprockdrive.com for our bobfisk yesterday. Overall the process was cool. Only problem I had was the image uploading and resizing. Other than that, it was a simple process.
Basically, any fan can create a page for any band. They provide you with widgets (like the one in our sidebar) to promote the page and attract fans. Once your band gets 1000 fans on DeepRockDrive, they invite you into the studio for a live webcast of a show. The production I’ve seen from looking at the other band’s video’s looks great. Fans are able to interact directly with the bands through an instant messaging cat sytle interface. Head over to our page and vote for us! Help us to share our music with the world!

Man, we’ve got some kick ass new stuff…..we’re writing more as a band now and the new stuff is some jamming, pissed off political stuff. Texas Prodigal Sons and Save My Home are two new ones, we should have demos up soon! Angry writing coming from an article I read about the amount of money not spent that was supposed to be dedicated to the Gulf Coast Aid. http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2008-01-10-gulfcoast-funds_N.htm
Texas Prodigal Son is about this dynasty out of Texas that have helped to destroy any remnants of democracy that we had left in the last 8 years. The band is finally writing all together, we’ll be in the studio soon! GD right, son!
This is Brett’s Personal Message to Everyone in the State of Nevada:
People tend to bitch and whine about their government and how there aren’t any good candidates…..on Saturday the 19th you could change that. The reason that we are always get the lowest common denominator douche bags is because no one votes in the Caucus. Get your ass out there next Saturday and show some support. It’s only a democracy if we take it back from the bad guys.
No more special interests, no more lobbyist, no more rich, greedy, war mongering, God-preaching, fascist-leaning pieces of Washington shit that we are always left with.
We need to take this country back before the top 2 percent destroy it.
Bad officials are elected by good citizens who do not vote.
