Gonna be doing a show for the 1 Year Anniversary of Cloth and Canvas….need to do a Beatles cover. We actually are doing a Creedence medley now as our only cover….all new material otherwise!

bobFisk is planning on the release of it’s first album in Fall of 2008 and we are going to be trying a little experiment while writing some new material to be recorded. We write and arrange often as a band, and we always come up with interesting, improvisational ways to make a song flow. Sometimes works, sometimes not, but we will be posting video docs of the arranging and writing process as we go along. Below is the entry for a new song titled the Best of the Empires to Fall. Hello Moto.
Vanessa Lawson has honored bobFisk in asking us to come jam out our acoustic set with her at her Trivia/Comedy night at Yayo Taco on Tuesday, April 1st.
FYI, I consider myself a trivia powerhouse, so bring it on.
Everything gets started at around 8-10ish.
Vanessa will be performing her intelligent, witty comedy along with MCing the entire trivia portion of the night.
bobFisk will be jamming sans electricity, we have some cool covers and some acoustic renditions of our tunes ready to rock.

Hello there, campers.
bobFisk will be appearing this Friday night, March 7, at the Freakin’ Frog alongside the Rockabilly/Punk outfit, Quint and the Cowpunk Calamity. Show will get going around 10-10:30. This bar is one of the coolest in Vegas, they have a Whiskey tasting room upstairs……I’m sure some of you might be pretty, pretty, pretty interested in that. We are back to a power-trio, and we’ll be doing a few new tunes and maybe some happy little covers as well.
I’ll send some directions out later in the week.

Just wanted to update the agenda a bit for the Saturday show….we are going to back to basics for one show: the trio of old. We will be playing two 45 minute sets with a break in between, starts at 10:30. Covering some Allmans, SRV, Hendrix, and some mandolin and dobro playing, along with our new tunes and old.
