About

Born out of a deep desire to create bluesy, gonzo, soulful rock and roll and an effort to stamp out all of the eyeliner and fashion oriented crap that has eaten up the music industry like a disease, bobFisk came to rock. With Mr. Cooper of Clearlake, CA kicking nuts on the backbeat, the blues, country, bluegrass and metal lead guitar of Brett Houchin, of Stendal, IN, the bad ass bottom end of Gerard Ramos of New Orleans, LA and the balls of steel guitar playing of Pat Warren, of Rooster Run, KY, this bunch of fellas will kick the shit out of you…. and then buy you a drink. If we’re feeling fucking nice.

bobFisk pays tribute to the music that matters to them, not to the music that they have been told is cool. bobFisk has more to do with Bill Monroe than Blondie, more ZZ Top than Depeche Mode and a helluva lot more John Lee Hooker than, well, anything.

In the heart of a music industry that seems to be vomiting out music by the truckload that is more of a commodity than communion, bobFisk is just trying to get back to the soul of it. The balls of it. Get back to the reasons why musicians should want to do this…get back to guitar, bass and drums…..and actually knowing how to play them. If it doesn’t have soul, if it doesn’t have balls, and if you spent more time picking out your wardrobe than you did writing your songs, get out of this band’s way.

Seriously. Move. Rock and Roll the Way Rock and Roll is supposed to be.
